Holbox Island is part of the Natural Reserve of Yum Balam. It is located off north-eastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and is the only Island in the Caribbean that has more than 40 km of unspoiled beaches....Isla Holbox is one of those fragile, precious places that takes you back to the days of no cars, beach roads and beautiful sunsets. t’s hard to believe that a place like this could be so close to the megalithic tourist destination of Cancun and yet be a million miles away in attitude, natural beauty and environmental diversity.
